11How to Activate Crescent Skybridge2233The Crescent Skybridge is one of the 40 Abyss Challenges in Crimson Desert. You encounter it during the Toward the Nest main quest in Chapter 5, directly after ascending through the Spire of Soaring. The challenge involves redirecting laser beams from spherical orbs onto wall panels, reconnecting two broken conduits, and using Force Palm and Axiom Force to power up the bridge that leads to the Crowaller boss arena at the Crow's Nest.4455Quest Details6677DetailInfoQuestToward the NestQuestlineBlack and WhiteChapterChapter 5: Guest UnbiddenChallenge TypeAbyss Challenge (1 of 40)MechanicsLaser redirection, conduit repair, Force Palm, Axiom ForcePuzzle RewardAbyss FragmentBoss EncounterCrowaller (at the Crow's Nest)88Step 1: Activate the Abyss Nexus991010When you arrive at the Crescent Skybridge via the elevator from the Spire of Soaring, look for a round floor plate near the starting area. Step on it to activate the Abyss Nexus, which functions as a fast travel checkpoint. This is worth doing immediately because falling off the Skybridge sends you back, and the checkpoint lets you warp straight back here instead of reclimbing the entire Spire.11111212Step 2: Align the Laser Spheres13131414From the Nexus, head to the right. You will see several large spherical orbs that emit laser beams. The goal is to redirect each laser so it hits a corresponding wall panel, turning the panel from orange to blue. There are three lasers above you and one at ground level.15151616Ground-level laser (no adjustment needed): The laser directly in front of you is already properly aligned. Leave it alone.17171818First upper laser: Use three consecutive mid-air Force Palm attacks (press R3 three times while airborne) to gain height, then climb the rest of the way up to the first elevated sphere. Having increased stamina or the Aerial Maneuver skill unlocked makes this climb significantly easier. You can clearly see this laser is not aimed correctly. Use Axiom Force (hold L3) to grab the small panel at the back of the laser. Wait a couple of seconds for the grab to register before adjusting the aim. Then use the D-pad or right stick to line the laser up with the currently orange wall panel. When the panel turns blue, the alignment is correct.19192020Remaining Lasers and Hazards21212222Second upper laser: Look across to the opposite side of the structure. The next sphere that needs adjusting is directly across from you. Navigate over to it and perform the same alignment: grab the panel with Axiom Force, aim the beam at the orange wall panel, and hold until it shifts to blue.23232424Middle lasers (no adjustment needed): The two middle orbs (one at the top, one at the bottom) auto-align on their own once the others are set. You do not need to interact with them. When all lasers are properly aimed, the large rings around the structure turn blue and begin rotating.25252626Hazard: Watch out for purple flowers growing on the platforms near the orbs. Contact with these flowers drains your health steadily and can poison you. Give them a wide berth while repositioning the lasers. Step back and heal if your health gets low.27272828Step 3: Cross to the Other Side29293030With the lasers aligned, you need to reach the opposite side of the Skybridge. Head to the middle laser and get on top of it. Use Aerial Force Palm to gain height, then Glide across the gap. The now-rotating rings can serve as platforms if you need to land partway. Time your jumps to land when the ring surface faces upward, since they rotate at a consistent speed. If you fall short, use a mid-air Force Palm to recover height before switching back to Glide.31313232Step 4: Reconnect the Broken Conduits33333434On the other side of the gap, you need to find and repair two severed power conduits. Hold L1 + R1 (PlayStation) or LB + RB (Xbox) to activate your scanning vision, which highlights active cables in blue and broken cables in yellow. Alternatively, you can hold L1 (PlayStation) or LB (Xbox) alone to raise your lantern: active power cables glow blue under the lantern light, while broken cables glow yellow, making them easy to spot against the dark Abyss environment.35353636First conduit: Walk forward from where you land and locate the first broken cable in the center area. Approach it and hold Square (PlayStation) or X (Xbox) to reconnect it.37373838Second conduit: Climb onto the raised platform to the right of the large button (while facing it). Find the second broken conduit on this ledge and reconnect it the same way.39394040After both conduits are repaired, the large circular button in this area becomes powered.41414242Step 5: Activate the Button With Force Palm43434444The button is now active but needs a physical strike to trigger. Climb to the center of the large round button panel and latch on. While hanging from the panel, hit it with a Force Palm attack (R3). This sends a shockwave through the structure and powers the Skybridge.45454646After the activation animation plays, climb to the platform on top of the button to claim the Abyss Fragment, your reward for completing this challenge.47474848Step 6: Activate the Skybridge49495050From the Abyss Fragment platform, make your way behind it and locate the root-covered Skybridge on the right side. A pillar emerges from the ground near the activation point. Apply Axiom Force (hold L3) to grab it and rotate using the D-pad or directional inputs until the pillar glows blue and makes a sound. Wait a few seconds for the activation to complete. The Skybridge extends outward, creating the path forward.51515252Step 7: Reach the Crow's Nest53535454Once the Skybridge is activated, cross it and use the air vents on the other side to launch yourself across the final gap. Glide at maximum height from the vent. You will nearly reach the top of the opposite platform; ride a second air vent if needed to make it up without interrupting your glide.55555656Use the wind turbines scattered around the structure for additional vertical lift to reach the upper platforms. At the top, step into the blue teleporter to enter the Crow's Nest.57575858Activate the fast travel point near the tree before the encounter triggers. The Crowaller boss fight begins shortly after you approach the tree. There is no chance to resupply once the fight starts.59596060Quest Rewards61616262Completing the full Toward the Nest quest (including the Crowaller boss fight after the Skybridge) rewards:63636464PhaseDetailsBlackwing Leather Armor(Body)Blackwing Mask(Head)Tauria Curved Sword(Weapon)6565Controls Reference66666767ActionPlayStationXboxNotesScanning visionL1 + R1LB + RBShows active (blue) and broken (yellow) cablesGrab object (Axiom Force)Hold L3Hold LSLaser panels, orbs, pillarAim laserD-pad / Right stickD-pad / RSWhile holding sphere panel with L3Force Palm strikeR3RSUsed to activate the main button panelMid-air Force PalmR3 x3 while airborneRS x3 while airborneGains height for reaching upper platformsReconnect conduitHold SquareHold XWalk up to broken cable and holdActivate gliderDouble-press SquareDouble-press AFor crossing gaps between rings6868Tips69697070Always activate the Abyss Nexus checkpoint first. The grab needs a moment to register properly.Use the wind turbines scattered around the final section to reach upper platforms before stepping into the blue teleporter.Bring plenty of healing items (100+ Grilled Meat is recommended). The Crowaller boss fight starts immediately after entering the Crow's Nest, with no chance to resupply. If you are struggling with the triple Force Palm jumps, try jumping from the highest available point and using all three palm boosts in quick succession before switching to glide.71717272See Also73737474How to Activate the Spire of SoaringSpire ChallengesToward the NestAbyss Island Puzzle SolutionsCrowallerForce PalmAxiom ForceFast TravelQuest Objectives GuideMain Story Walkthrough
