Hernand Castle serves as the central fortress of the Duchy of Hernand. The stronghold benefits from strategic defensive advantages, surrounded by deep canyons and the Nas River, which provide natural barriers against attack. A grindstone can be found just inside the main entrance for weapon maintenance.
The castle overlooks the City of Hernand from higher ground. Nearby areas include the Church of Hernand, the Hernand Highlands, and the Hernand North Gate. The Nas River flows around the castle's base, forming part of its natural defenses.

Haldwin: Operates the Hernandian Contributions Shop in the southern part of the castle. This vendor sells unique items in exchange for Hernandian contribution tokens.
