Overview

Everfrost Basin is a snowy basin located deep within the Everfrost mountains in the Hernand region. Snow-covered peaks surround the basin, creating a cold, still atmosphere. On clear days, sunlight reflects off the snow to create a dazzling panorama of winter scenery.

Description

The basin sits at a lower elevation within the Everfrost range, sheltered by the surrounding peaks. Despite the serene beauty of the snow-covered landscape, the area remains dangerous for unprepared travelers. The cold and isolation make this one of the more challenging areas to explore in Hernand.

Caves

Death's Grip Cave is hidden behind a waterfall within Everfrost Basin. This waterfall cave is one of several found throughout the broader Everfrost area.

Tips

• The basin's lower elevation makes it a natural gathering point; watch for both wildlife and potential enemy encounters.

• Check behind waterfalls for hidden cave entrances.

• On clear days, the reflective snow can make it easier to spot landmarks and navigate.
