1111 Press R1 + Circle to strike while dodging backward. Kliff performs a quick slash as he retreats, dealing damage to the enemy while creating distance. This is a defensive counterattack that works well against aggressive enemies, allowing Kliff to punish attacks without committing to a full dodge roll that would leave him unable to retaliate.

1515 Evasive Slash is unlocked by raising the Armed Combat skill to Level 2. Since Armed Combat is one of Kliff's starting skills, players can invest their first few Abyss Artifacts to reach Level 2 relatively early in the game.
