1515 There are no stairs leading to the top of the bell tower. Players must use the Force Palm ability to climb upward. Force Palm can be used in midair up to three times in a row (activated with R3) to catapult yourself to great heights, making it the primary method for scaling the church tower. Once at the top, interact with the bell to ring it and trigger a cutscene with a Shai Resident NPC.

1919 This bell becomes temporarily unavailable during Chapter 6 of the main story. During that chapter, the Calphade area becomes a hostile zone, and the Shai Resident NPC will not spawn. Attempting to ring the bell during Chapter 6 will not count toward the Toll of Pywel quest. Players can ring it at any point before or after Chapter 6 without issue.
