Bentley is a meticulous perfectionist who cannot tolerate even minor errors in work entrusted to him. Among the vendors of Hernand, he occupies a unique role tied to the Duchy's official trade operations rather than a personal shop.

The Royal Trading Post is in the City of Hernand. It is an official Duchy building, and Bentley can be found inside managing trade ledgers and overseeing the flow of goods.

Bentley's trading post deals in official trade goods on behalf of the Duchy of Hernand. The trading post system works differently from regular vendor shops. Instead of buying everyday items, players can purchase and sell trade goods, both packaged and unpackaged, for copper and silver. This connects to the broader trade network that includes Goldleaf Trading Posts in other regions.

The trade goods economy becomes available after progressing through the main story. Once unlocked, players can buy goods from one location and transport them to another for profit. The Royal Trading Post in Hernand is one of the starting points for this trade route system.
