The recorded seafood slot requires 2 from Ricefish, Small Blackbrow Bleak, Small Minnow, Small Spirlin, or Small Gudgeon. The vegetable slot accepts Onion, Flax, Cucumber, Turnip, or Beet. Egg and Cooking Oil cannot be substituted. Keep Fish Fillets for recipes that explicitly use them, such as Battered Fish; the recorded Battered Seafood recipe lists the small-fish group instead. This recipe requires the most ingredients of any battered dish, so plan your supply accordingly.
With +260 Health and +24 Spirit, Battered Seafood is one of the strongest Field Grill dishes. It rivals some pot-cooked soups in raw restoration.
The Fire Resistance Lv 4 buff lasts a full minute, giving you meaningful protection during volcanic or fire-themed areas.
Fish can be obtained through Fishing at ponds and rivers, or purchased from fish merchants near coastal settlements.
Compare with Vegetable and Seafood Porridge if you prefer Ice Resistance over Fire Resistance.
