Mika

Mika is Santiago da Costa's daughter and the second named member of Santiago's family in ARK 2. She travels with her father through the hostile landscape of Arat.

Narrative Function

Mika's presence reframes Santiago from generic survivalist into a father trying to protect someone. That dynamic is part of why Studio Wildcard has moved the game toward heavier narrative content than ARK: Survival Evolved, which leaned almost entirely on emergent multiplayer rather than on plotted characters.
