Initial version (2026-09-17)
This page tracks Aniimo’s published changelogs. It is deliberately thin at the moment, and that is a fact about the game rather than a gap in the page: Aniimo only went live on PC, console and Xbox cloud gaming on September 16, 2026, and the mobile versions do not arrive until September 23, 2026. As of September 17, 2026 (UTC+8) exactly one numbered patch note had been published. Everything before it is a build milestone rather than a changelog, and entries will fill out as the studio publishes more.
Times below are given in UTC+8, the zone the studio’s own announcements use. Where a date here looks a day ahead of what a storefront shows, that is the zone difference and not a different build. Launch and Reception sets out the same trap for the release date itself.
Version | Date (UTC+8) | What changed |
|---|---|---|
Pre-download build | September 14, 2026, 10:00 | Pre-download opened on Windows PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox. No playable content: the client downloads and waits for the servers. PC needs about 40 GB free and consoles 30 to 35 GB, and the PlayStation 5 client installs only to the internal SSD. See System Requirements. |
Launch build | September 16, 2026, 10:00 | All three regional servers opened at the same instant. This is the first public build and it differs substantially from the closed beta clients: a whole progression layer was removed, Legendary capture was rebuilt, and the Homeland was expanded. The itemised list is on Launch Version Changes. |
v1.0.3535596.0 | September 17, 2026, 00:43 | First published changelog. Ten bug fixes, headlined by frequent disconnect and reconnect faults, plus adjustments to three gift items. Detailed below. |
The first numbered patch arrived inside a day of the servers opening. Its fixes were applied during September 16 (UTC+8) and the notes were posted shortly after midnight, which is why the patch carries a September 17 date while its work landed on September 16. It was published under the heading of fixes for frequent disconnects and reconnections, the fault that dominated launch-day reports.
Area | Fix |
|---|---|
Connection | Repeated disconnection and reconnection when the client stutters. |
Combat | Abnormal damage values displayed in battle. See Combat and Battles. |
Homeland | Display fault in the Homeland interface on entry. See The RV and Homeland. |
Homeland | Wrong prompt shown when a Homeland season feature was used below its unlock level. |
Purchases | Items bought on Xbox and on Xbox on PC not being delivered to the account. |
Items | An event currency not being counted correctly. |
Interface | Black screen when returning from the shop to the design screen. |
Interface | Missing like button in the photo interface. |
Tutorial | Input anomaly during the Aniimo Management tutorial. |
Localisation | Line-break, truncation and layout faults in German, French, Russian, Spanish and Japanese interface text. |
Three gift items were revised in the same patch. The quality of the items inside one of them was raised, and the rewards and descriptions of the other two were rewritten. These are welcome and event gift bundles rather than systems changes, so no balance figures were published with them.
The same notes listed faults that were acknowledged but not fixed in this patch: sealed beta Aniimo eggs claimed through the farewell event carry an innate potential data fault, and that claim entry was temporarily closed while it is repaired; visual effects can display abnormally on a player’s first entry to Astra; and a red-screen display fault was open, with switching the graphics setting to Performance Mode given as a workaround and a fix expected in the following day’s update. Separate black-screen guidance told players to update the graphics driver, try switching between DirectX 11 and DirectX 12, and disable DLSS and frame generation at the login screen. All of these carry over to Known Issues.
Aniimo ran three closed beta tests before release, and the beta period did carry regular update notices, including daily patch notes and compensation posts during the second test. Those changelogs describe builds that no longer exist: the launch client is a different build, beta clients cannot be used, and beta data does not carry over. They are therefore treated as history rather than as version entries and are covered on Development, with the beta-to-launch differences itemised on Launch Version Changes.
Entries are added from the studio’s own published changelogs and version announcements. As of September 17, 2026 (UTC+8) no server-status post, no maintenance notice and no compensation notice had been published for the launch build in any of the eleven languages the studio publishes announcements in, and the newest item in every one of them was the launch announcement followed by the patch above. The absence is a timing fact about launch week, not a policy: the format exists and was used routinely during the beta period.
A version, in Aniimo’s own terminology, is also a content period rather than only a client build number. The Companion Handbook and Passes battle pass is scoped to a version and its exclusive creature rotates with each one, so version boundaries matter to players holding an unredeemed pass.
