Twining is the signature mechanic of Aniimo, and the source of its motto, Be One Be All. By Twining with a captured Aniimo, a Pathfinder can essentially become that creature, taking on its form, its skills, and its way of seeing the world.
Any Aniimo a player has collected can be Twined with, turning the creature into a tool for solving problems. Players use an Aniimo's skills to clear puzzles, win battles, and overcome obstacles that a Pathfinder could not handle alone. Twining is framed as a way to see Idyll from a brand new perspective.
Twining is closely tied to movement and exploration. Depending on the creature, players can glide through the air, dive underwater, or burrow through the ground, with the world built so that you can step foot almost anywhere. This makes a varied collection of Aniimo a key to reaching new places across Idyll.
The breadth of Twining is what the slogan Be One Be All captures: the more creatures you collect, the more forms and abilities you can call on. Specific Twining skills for individual Aniimo have not been fully detailed, so this page covers only the confirmed shape of the mechanic.
