Added the late-September patch fixes, the scene-load workaround and the mobile lag and overheating work
1-This page collects the faults the studio has acknowledged publicly around Aniimo’s launch, together with the workarounds published alongside them. It began as a launch-window snapshot: the game went live on PC, console and Xbox cloud gaming on September 16, 2026 and on iOS and Android on September 23, 2026, and everything below was published between September 14 and September 23, 2026 (UTC+8). Fixed issues are kept rather than deleted, because they explain what a player who has not patched may still be seeing. The version log itself is on Update History.1+This page collects the faults the studio has acknowledged publicly around Aniimo’s launch, together with the workarounds published alongside them. The version log itself is on Update History.2233Intel 13th and 14th Generation Desktop Processors4455Two days before launch, on September 14, 2026, the studio published a notice devoted entirely to instability on certain 13th and 14th generation Intel Core desktop processors. It is the only known issue that got its own announcement, and the cause is attributed to a known defect in those processors rather than to anything in the game. Affected machines can show crashes, unexpected exits, freezes, graphical glitches, shader decompilation errors, out-of-video-memory errors and blue screens.6677The symptom list matters because several of those failures look like a broken game rather than broken hardware. A shader decompilation error or an out-of-video-memory error on a high-end machine reads as a graphics bug, and on these processors it is not one.8899Affected Processors10101111Nineteen models are named. All of them are desktop parts; no mobile or laptop processor appears on the list.12121313GenerationSeriesModels13th GenCore i5i5-13600K, i5-13600KF13th GenCore i7i7-13700, i7-13700F, i7-13700K, i7-13700KF13th GenCore i9i9-13900, i9-13900F, i9-13900K, i9-13900KF14th GenCore i5i5-14600K14th GenCore i7i7-14700, i7-14700F, i7-14700K, i7-14700KF14th GenCore i9i9-14900, i9-14900F, i9-14900K, i9-14900KF1414The Fix and the Workaround15151616ActionDetailUpdate the motherboard BIOSThe actual fix. The BIOS version installed needs to carry Intel microcode 0x12B or later, which is the revision that addresses the defect. Board makers ship this through their own BIOS updates.Lower the Performance-Core multiplierA workaround for machines that cannot be updated yet. Reducing the P-core multiplier by two to three steps in Intel’s tuning utility, for example from 55x down to 53x, trades a little performance for stability.1717The game also ships an in-game popup for machines it detects as affected, with a button that takes the player straight to the notice, so an affected player is told rather than left to work it out from the crash pattern. None of this changes the published hardware specification on System Requirements: these processors meet and exceed it, and the issue is a defect rather than a compatibility gap.18181919Launch-Day Disconnects20202121The dominant fault on launch day was repeated disconnection and reconnection while playing, triggered when the client stuttered. It was fixed in the first patch, version 1.0.3535596.0, which was published under exactly that heading on September 17, 2026 (UTC+8) with the fixes applied during September 16.22222323This should not be confused with the queueing the studio warned about separately. Before the servers opened, players were told to expect login queues and slower loading while the launch crowd arrived. Those are load symptoms of a launch, not faults, and they were never listed as issues. See Launch and Reception.24242525Xbox Purchase Delivery26262727Items bought on Xbox and on Xbox on PC were not being delivered to the buyer’s account. This was fixed in the same day-one patch. A purchase made in that window that still has not arrived is a support matter rather than a retry: the route is in-game support, covered on Accounts and Aniimo Pass.28282929Open Issues From the First Patch30303131These were acknowledged in the first patch notes as still open at the time of publication.32323333IssueStatus and workaroundSealed beta eggsEggs claimed through the beta farewell event carry an innate potential data fault, and the claim entry has been temporarily closed while it is repaired. Players who had not yet claimed were told to wait for it to reopen. As of September 27, 2026 the English text of those notes, last edited on September 19 (UTC+8), still lists the fault as open, while the Chinese-language text of the same notes lists it as fixed, with the egg to be claimed again from the event centre. The English mobile launch posts of September 22 and 23 point playtesters to the test reward page to check archived and claimable eggs, and the September 19 hotfix fixed Bond Egg hatching conditions that did not match their descriptions. See Development.Visual effects in AstraEffects may display abnormally on a player’s first entry to Astra. No workaround was published, and the September 18 hotfix notes still listed it as open. See The World of Idyll.Red-screen display faultFixed in version 1.0.3544783.0 on September 18, 2026, and version 1.1 fixed red tinting on certain devices on September 23. It had been open at the time of the first notes, with switching the graphics setting to Performance Mode given as the workaround and a fix expected in the following day’s update.3434Launch-Week Hotfixes35353636Two more hotfixes followed the first patch. Version 1.0.3544783.0, posted on September 18, 2026, fixed the red-screen fault, red character eyes on some graphics cards and two story quest blockers. Version 1.0.3551601.0, posted on September 19, fixed catch results that could not be processed, Bond Egg hatching conditions that did not match their descriptions and an Aniimo that could fail to revive after fainting several times in a Sanctum. The full lists are on Update History.37373838Version 1.1 and the Mobile Launch39394040Version 1.1 and the mobile launch on September 23, 2026 brought a short list of their own. The English notice acknowledges that the in-game mailbox was temporarily unavailable, which delayed the maintenance compensation, and pays one Sparkling Cube as known-issue compensation without itemising the issues. The Chinese-language text of the same notice itemises them, and as of September 27, 2026 no English list had been published.41414242IssueDetailMail rewardsClaiming rewards from some mails failed.Side quest freeze on AndroidSome Android devices could freeze during a side quest. Switching the graphics quality to Performance Mode or turning off shadows avoids it, and the scene can be skipped from the top-right corner of the screen.Skill effectThe ground effect of one Aniimo skill could display abnormally in some situations.Cross-device login eventIn an event tied to logging in on both PC and mobile, clicking a reward icon might not claim it; clicking the blank area to its left does. Logging in on PC and then switching straight to mobile could also block the claim until the player logged in again.Mobile Homeland displayStray blocks or outlines on entering the Homeland on mobile, listed as already fixed.43+Late September Patches44+45+Two patches at the end of September dealt with faults reported after version 1.1. The September 29, 2026 patch fixed Alpha catch attempts that sometimes failed with the message "Cannot catch the Alpha in the current state.", joining a friend's party through Come to My World early in the game blocking progression, and two achievements that could not be unlocked. It also gave a workaround for a rare teleportation fault that loads the wrong scene: go to the Outpost and use the green interaction point to reload the correct scene.46+47+The resource update of September 30 fixed models disappearing in Home on certain mobile operating systems, a rare console freeze when bringing a Prismana Fulmintis along, a crash when removing certain accessories during preview, and quest blockers in Family Reunion, in Russet Highlands and after a disconnect during a cutscene in A New Journey. The full lists are on Update History.48+49+Mobile Lag and Overheating50+51+On October 1, 2026 the developers acknowledged many reports of lag and overheating on mobile and said a dedicated team was optimizing the game for popular devices. As of October 13, 2026 no patch notes had described the result. The heat advice published at the mobile launch, lowering the graphics quality or rendering scale, is on System Requirements.52+4353Black Screens44544555Separate black-screen guidance was published with the first patch notes, covering machines where the game reaches a black screen instead of rendering. Three steps were given, in order: update the graphics driver, try switching the client between DirectX 11 and DirectX 12, and disable DLSS and frame generation at the login screen before entering the game.46564757That third step is worth pairing with System Requirements, which records DLSS 4.5 support as a launch feature. The feature is supported and is not being withdrawn; turning it off at the login screen specifically was the published workaround for this fault, not a statement about the feature generally.48584959One black-screen fault was fixed rather than worked around: returning from the shop to the design screen produced a black screen, and that was corrected in the first patch.50605161Controller Not Working on Steam52625363A controller that does not work in the Steam version has a published workaround, added to the first patch notes on September 19, 2026 (UTC+8): in the Steam library, open the game's Properties, go to Controller, set it to Disable Steam Input, then restart the game.54645565How to Report a Fault56665767Bug reports go through the in-game support entry in the menu, or the F10 hotkey on PC. The same routes handle account problems and undelivered purchases.58685969As of September 17, 2026 (UTC+8) no maintenance or compensation notice had been published for the launch build in any of the languages the studio publishes announcements in. The first for the live game came with version 1.1: its maintenance notice was posted on September 21, 2026 (UTC+8) and edited after the servers reopened to add compensation for the late start. Beyond those notices, the known-issue lists at the top of each set of patch notes are the closest thing the game has to a published issue tracker.
