11 Aniimo shipped with a published fair play policy. It went up on September 16, 2026 at 09:00 (UTC+8), one hour before the servers opened, which makes it one of the first things the studio said about the live game rather than a reaction to anything that happened in it. This page sets out what it prohibits, what happens to accounts that break it, and how violations are reported.

33 What Is Prohibited
44
55 The policy groups prohibited behaviour into six areas. The list is specific rather than generic, and several entries name mechanics that are particular to this game.
66
77 CategoryCovered behaviourThird-party toolsHacks and cheat programs, automatic catching scripts, synchronisation tools that drive several clients as one, and running multiple instances through virtual systems.Client modificationAltering the game’s main program in any way.Bug exploitationDeliberately exploiting faults to obtain Aniimo, training materials or other resources, and spreading exploit information for profit.Account tradingAll account trading, transfer and sharing. There is no sanctioned form of it and no exception for lending an account to a friend.PaymentsThird-party and discounted top-ups. Only the official purchase routes are permitted; see Lumin Crystals and Currencies.Community conductAdvertising, fraud, promotion of cheat tools, abuse and rumour-mongering in the game’s channels.
88 Penalties
99
1010 Penalties are described as escalating rather than as a fixed tariff, so the same behaviour does not automatically carry the same outcome for every account.
1111
1212 StepWhat happensRecoveryIllicit proceeds are clawed back and gains obtained through a violation are wiped from the account.SuspensionTemporary suspension of the account.BanPermanent ban of the account.Legal actionReserved against those who create or distribute cheat tools, and against violations carried out at commercial scale.
1313 The legal step is the one that separates a player using a tool from a business selling one. The policy reserves it for cheat authors and distributors and for commercial-scale violators, which in practice means top-up resellers and account sellers rather than individual players.
1414
1515 How the Rules Map to the Game
1616
1717 Three of the named prohibitions line up directly with how Aniimo is structured, which makes them easier to remember than a generic anti-cheat list.
1818
1919 Automatic catching scripts are named first among third-party tools because catching is the progression loop rather than a side activity: creatures are the content, and a collection built by a script is a collection built without playing. See Catching and Aniipods and Aniimo Creatures. Bug exploitation is called out specifically for obtaining Aniimo, training materials and resources, which are the three things Aniimo Training and Growth consumes. And because the competitive modes on Egg Heist and PvP run against other players’ rosters, an advantage gained in collection or training is a competitive advantage too, not only an economic one.
2020
2121 The ban on account trading interacts with the account model described on Accounts and Aniimo Pass. An Aniimo Pass is an email account, so sharing the login shares the account outright, and the policy makes no distinction between selling an account and lending one.
2222
2323 Reporting a Violation
2424
2525 Reports go through the same two routes as everything else that needs a human: in-game support from the menu, or the F10 hotkey on PC. Reports can also be sent by direct message to the studio’s official social channels.
2626
2727 A useful report carries the offending character’s identifier together with screenshots or video. A report without evidence is harder to act on, and the studio asks for both where they are available.

29+First Ban Notice
30+
31+On September 30, 2026 the studio published its first ban notice for the global servers, covering September 16 to September 22. The notice stated that 58 violating accounts had been handled in that period, all found to have used third-party cheat programs, tampered with game client data or committed other violations, and that all of them had been issued a 10-year ban. It also said that penalties can be as severe as a 10-year ban depending on the severity of the violation.
32+
33+The same notice warned against third-party account boosting services, which it tied to account sharing and cheat tools, and said the studio accepts no responsibility for compensating losses caused by players' own actions such as account sharing or account boosting. It was published in eleven languages. The separately operated Chinese edition publishes its own enforcement notices; see The Chinese Release.

2935 What Has Not Been Published
3036
31-As of September 17, 2026 (UTC+8) the studio had published no enforcement figures, no ban-wave notice and no appeals procedure for this policy. The policy itself was distributed in eleven languages on launch day, so the absence is of follow-up reporting rather than of the policy. Any claim about ban numbers in the launch window is therefore unsourced.
37+As of September 17, 2026 (UTC+8) the studio had published no enforcement figures, no ban-wave notice and no appeals procedure for this policy. The policy itself was distributed in eleven languages on launch day, so the absence was of follow-up reporting rather than of the policy. The first enforcement figures arrived with the ban notice of September 30, 2026 described above.

3339 The policy is signed by the studio’s team rather than by a named individual, and it does not set out a fixed schedule of penalties for specific offences, so the mapping between a given violation and a given outcome is discretionary.
