11 Evolution is how most Aniimo grow. A creature moves up through as many as three published growth stages, changing appearance and gaining stats as it goes, and in a good number of cases the line splits so that one starting creature can end up as two or three completely different things.

33 The index sorts its 94 entries into 36 evolution lines plus two entries that stand alone. 14 of those lines branch. That is a much larger share than the handful of branching lines that early coverage suggested, and it matters for planning: a branch point is a decision, and the creature you do not pick has to be caught and raised separately.

55 What the index does not publish is the condition for taking one branch over another. The evolution data carries an empty condition field on every single node, so the trigger, whether it is level, item, habitat, time of day or something else, is not documented anywhere official yet.
