Vault Security is a private security company in Nova City, described on its own page as "a subsidiary of the Vault Dynamics Group" that "utilizes a comprehensive, self-supplied armed division to provide protection you can trust". Of the six in-world businesses ANANTA has given corporate microsites, Vault Security is the one most directly tied to Chaos: two of its three published contract tiers staff a dedicated Chaos security advisor.
Contract Tiers
The site publishes three service plans, each with its staffing and its intended client stated outright.
Contract | Staffing | Intended for |
|---|---|---|
A-1 Everyday Disturbances (Basic, Level 1) | 2 licensed security officers | Individuals and families, residents of low-risk areas, and everyday travel protection |
A-2 Personal Protection (Advanced, Level 2) | 4 dedicated armed security officers, including 1 Chaos security advisor | Corporate executives and public figures, medium-risk professionals, and frequent travelers |
A-3 Lethal Threats (Flagship, Level 3) | A 12-member armed team, each with defensive weapons, heavy body armor and tactical communication systems, plus 1 Chaos security advisor, 1 intelligence analyst and 1 medical advisor | High-net-worth individuals, high-risk industry professionals, and clients with special security needs |
The tier names are the clearest statement the game has published about how ordinary Nova City residents are meant to think about risk. "Everyday Disturbances" sits at the bottom and "Lethal Threats" at the top, with a Chaos specialist attached from the middle tier upward.
Enterprise Services
A separate enterprise section lists five service lines and claims military-grade standards.
Personal Protection: licensed armed teams for individual protection and on-site patrolling of critical posts.
Risk Management: pre-project security assessments running a closed loop of early warning, real-time response and post-incident review.
Asset Protection: tiered security systems and armed patrols for warehousing, transport and production facilities.
Absolute Compliance: strict adherence to client instructions and confidentiality agreements.
Mobile Coverage: a fleet the company puts at over 200 vehicles, including armored cars, armed transport vehicles and tactical SUVs, for pickups, transfers and emergency evacuations.
Position in the City
The company markets itself against the city's public institutions rather than alongside them, claiming "you won't find better protection anywhere in Nova City". That puts it in a different bracket from the NCCA, which is the city's police force, and from the A.C.D., which handles Chaos as a public task force. Vault Security sells the same two capabilities privately.
What Is Not Confirmed
What the Vault Dynamics Group is, or what else it owns.
What a Chaos security advisor actually does, or how the role relates to an Esper.
Any named Vault Security employee or client.
Whether the company is an ally, an obstacle, or neither.
Everything above comes from the company's own page on the game's website. None of it has been shown in gameplay footage, and no character has been tied to Vault Security in any trailer, hands-on demo or closed beta build.
