Evadne Gladwin
October 14, 2026 at 11:19 AM
Initial version (2026-10-14)
Evadne Gladwin is a romanceable character in Witchbrook. She was introduced on 8 September 2026 as Mossport's walking daydream, and two days later the developers' dating dev blog listed her as the sixth of the game's eleven romanceable characters to be revealed, after Hana Sato, Eli Ivers, Cormac Fitzroy, Pip Marin and Leif Blomgren.
Evadne's reveal followed the same pattern as Leif's a few weeks earlier: a short video posted to the studio's social feed and its video channel, carrying an illustrated character card with her name and a one-line description. The post opened with a line in quotation marks, "Everything seems just a little softer after we've spent the day together."
The card and the dev blog describe her the same way: a walking daydream, and the only Witchbrook student who might accidentally invent a new potion while trying to make toast. The blog adds that she is whimsical and charming and helps everyone come out of their shell. That establishes two concrete facts beyond her personality: she is a student at Witchbrook College, and she is one of the player's covenmates, since the same post introduces her and Leif as covenmates the player has just met.

The character card shows Evadne as an illustrated portrait rather than an in-game sprite: a young woman with very long, wavy lavender hair and a crown of pink and peach roses, wearing a pale green cable-knit sweater over a white collared shirt and a pleated cream skirt, with one hand resting on her chest and a soft smile. Above the portrait, an in-game street scene shows her pixel-art sprite, recognisable by the same purple hair, carrying a basket of produce outside a cheese shop.
Evadne follows the general rules of the romance system laid out in the September 2026 dev blog: building a relationship by spending time together and exchanging gifts, asking her out with a card from the post office, dates made up of two activities of the player's choosing, and a going-steady card once things are going well. The blog also notes that characters are ready to date at different times depending on what they are going through, and that a covenmate's story arc can be followed through friendship alone. Nothing specific to Evadne's own arc has been described.
