Taming is how players bring wild Aidons home in Wild Wild Eden. The Steam store describes it in three steps: set traps, put the creature to sleep with a Dream Brew, then tame it.
How Taming Works
The store page's taming blurb reads: "This world is full of mysterious monsters waiting for your protection. Set up traps, lull them to sleep with a Dream Brew, and tame them to welcome them home."
Step | What happens |
|---|---|
1. Trap | Set up traps |
2. Sleep | Lull the creature to sleep with a Dream Brew |
3. Tame | Tame the sleeping creature so it joins the player's home |
Developers interviewed at Bilibili World 2026 explained that taming does not involve weakening a creature in battle and throwing a ball at it, and that tamed creatures are not stored in any kind of container.
Reports From the 2026 Demos
Players who tried the event demos described a few more details. These come from demo builds and could change:
A single Dream Brew is usually not enough, so several have to be thrown.
Once the creature is asleep, the player pets or feeds it.
Taming uses a Tame action with a cooldown, repeated a few times until the creature is tamed.
The Dream Brew is something the player makes, and one hands-on player crafted a large batch before using it on a creature.
Dream Brew
Dream Brew is the sleep-inducing item named in the store text. In store screenshots, two early quests reward "Dream Brew(S) x 3". What the (S) stands for has not been explained as of October 2026.
After Taming
Tamed creatures need looking after. A quest in the store screenshots reads: "Put enough food in the Feeding Trough(S). Tamed monsters within the effective range will feed themselves when hungry." Official materials also describe petting the creatures and eating meals with them.

Once tamed, creatures can be ridden (Mounts and Riding), bred (Breeding) and given jobs at the base such as farm work (Farming) and processing stations (Crafting). The Steam post announcing Tokyo Game Show 2026 invited booth visitors to practise breeding and taming.
Not Yet Confirmed
As of October 2026, the developers have not said which creatures can be tamed, what kinds of traps exist, or whether a creature's level affects taming.
