October 14, 2026 at 12:27 AM
Initial version (2026-10-13)
Wild Wild Eden is planned to launch in Steam Early Access in spring 2027. As of October 2026 the game has not been released, there is no public demo on Steam, and no exact date has been announced.
Shueisha Games announced the release plan in its 1 July 2026 press release: the game will release through Steam Early Access from spring 2027. A Steam post from 9 September 2026 repeated the window, describing the team's progress toward "our Spring 2027 Early Access launch". The release field on the Steam store page itself reads Q1 2027. Both come from official channels, and neither gives a day or month.

The press release lists Steam as the platform, and the Steam store page lists Windows only, with no Mac or Linux version. The Japanese descriptions of the two official trailers on the publisher's YouTube channel give the platform as PC (Steam) and others, but as of October 2026 no console version has been named anywhere.
The press release lists both the price and the age rating as undecided. The Steam page shows no price and does not list the game as free to play; beyond that, the business model has not been described. Steam displays automatically generated ratings for a few regions, but these are not official classifications, and the publisher has not announced a rating as of October 2026.
So far the game has only been playable at events. These were event builds, and what they contained may differ from the Early Access release.

The gamescom announcement invited visitors to "Experience our demo build on high-end rigs" and asked players for feedback after trying it. For Tokyo Game Show, the Steam post promised visitors could "See our unique Aidons up close and practice the art of cozy breeding and taming." The game also appeared in Shueisha Games' Tokyo Game Show 2026 lineup video of upcoming titles.
A Steam post on 2 October 2026 announced a "movie-esque" teaser trailer for the Galaxies Autumn Showcase. It was scheduled to premiere on Thursday 15 October 2026 at 8:00 PM BST (12:00 PM Pacific). The post described the teaser as a cinematic look at the game's world and its survival crafting loop.
No playtest or beta test has run on Steam as of October 2026. The 27 August 2026 Steam post celebrating 100,000 wishlists told players to "Stay tuned for news about playtests." In September 2026 replies on the Steam discussion boards, the developer account said beta tests were close, without giving dates.
The press release lists the player count as one player up to an undecided maximum, with online multiplayer support; see Multiplayer. Five languages are listed: Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and Korean. When asked about other languages on the Steam discussion boards in September 2026, the developers said they were working to expand language support but did not commit to any specific language.
On 27 August 2026 the developers announced that more than 100,000 players had added the game to their Steam wishlists. For the full timeline, see Development History.
