The Gloomspite Gitz were revealed with the release date on October 6, 2026, bringing the confirmed enemy factions to six.13131414Demo Feedback15151616The first demo drew over 190,000 players by mid-July 2026. In response Auroch said it was rebalancing enemies, characters and weapons, adding cross-universe currency sharing, fixing unreachable chests and adding skippable sequences, all subject to change. It removed the first demo from the store after July 22 and released a new demo on October 6, 2026. See Demo.17171818Art Process19192020Two art blogs in August 2026 described how the team worked. Concepting started with discussions about environments that feel inherently Warhammer alongside surprising new ones, then rough test scenes to settle the sprite style. Bloodwind Spoil was shown from concept to in-development stage. The second blog covered simplifying detailed miniatures into small sprites, nailing how each weapon feels, and the team's favourite factions. Auroch said a third blog on the game's warzones would follow.21212222Partners23232424Beyond the partnership with Warhammer and poncle, Auroch worked with Water Witch Studio on stages and art passes and with RocketBrush on characters, enemies and effects.
