11Warhammer Survivors has had two free demos on Steam ahead of its November 10, 2026 launch. The first was described as a short, curated experience, and neither demo carries progress into the full release.2233Demo Summary4455DemoReleasedChampionsStagesNotesFirst demoMay 21, 2026Malum Caedo, Neave BlacktalonImperial Bastion, The Great Parch7 weapons per universe; store listing ended after July 22, 2026Second demoOctober 6, 2026Legend of Catachan, Lyssa Ravenya (new)Not statedNew weapons, abilities and improvements66First Demo (May 2026)7788The first demo launched on May 21, 2026, the day of the Warhammer Skulls showcase. It offered one champion per universe: Malum Caedo defending an Imperial Bastion from Tyranids in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, and Neave Blacktalon fighting the Skaven across The Great Parch in the Warhammer Age of Sigmar universe. Each universe had 7 weapons, mixing bolter fire, blades and cross-universe relics, along with characters to unlock and secrets to find.991010Starting tips in the demo warned that the first run would probably be short, pointed players to the Power Up and Unlocks menus, and encouraged trying different characters. Save data does not transfer to the full game.11111212Player Numbers13131414DateMilestoneMay 28, 2026Over 100,000 players in the first weekJune 2, 2026Over 130,000 playersJuly 15, 2026Over 190,000 players, with more than half playing for over an hour1515Updates16161717In early June 2026 Auroch Digital released a small update after players found the Age of Sigmar side too punishing; errors in how drop rates were handled were fixed so the universe played as intended. Players also reported chests that could not be reached, which the developer later listed among its fixes for the full game. The studio said it would then focus on the full game rather than further demo changes.18181919Removal From the Store20202121On July 15, 2026 the developer announced that the first demo's store listing would be removed after July 22, 2026, to make way for a new demo with the changes made to the full game. Players who already had it kept it in their Steam library.22222323Second Demo (October 2026)24242525A brand-new demo arrived on October 6, 2026, the same day the release date and price were announced. It adds two new champions, the Legend of Catachan and Lyssa Ravenya, plus new weapons and abilities and a range of improvements. Progress from the first demo does not carry over to it, and its progress will not transfer to the full game.26262727Feedback That Shaped the Full Game28282929After the first demo, Auroch said it was looking at rebalancing enemies, characters and weapons, cross-universe currency sharing, and quality-of-life fixes such as skippable sequences, all subject to change. It said it was not looking to change the mix of weapons that aim automatically and weapons that do not. See Gameplay and Progression and Unlocks.
