She is the mother of Graminova, who runs the Happiness Seed Shop and teaches the Farmer profession, and the wife of Sagewood, one of the island's two town elders. Like the rest of her family, Matilda has a deep connection to the land. She is one of the easier NPCs to build friendship with because her loved gifts are common crops that most players already grow on their farm.
