11Arrow Types2233Arrows are the ammunition for the Bow weapon in Starsand Island. Six arrow types are available, each crafted at the Ammo Maker station in batches of 3. Some arrows are designed for raw combat damage against bosses and enemies, while others are specialized tools for solving environmental puzzles in the Moonlit Forest. Understanding which arrows to bring for each situation is key to progressing through the deeper forest zones.4455All Arrow Types6677ArrowExplorer TierPrimary UseKey ComponentStandard ArrowJuniorGeneral combatBasic materialsBomb ArrowJuniorBoss fights, stun-lock, high burst damagePhosandFire ArrowIntermediatePuzzle: burns roots, branches, and flammable barriersEmbersandWater ArrowIntermediatePuzzle: grows vine bridges from tree stumpsPristine OrbGale ArrowSeniorCombat: wind damage, strong against regular enemiesSenior-tier materialsTime ArrowExpertCombat: high damage outputExpert-tier materials8899The Ammo Maker10101111All arrows and their components are crafted at the Ammo Maker station. The Ammo Maker blueprint is one of the first items available from Zephyria at the Exploration Club when you begin the Explorer profession. A public Ammo Maker is also available on the left side of the Exploration Club counter, so you can craft ammo without building your own station.12121313The crafting process for special arrows works in two steps:14141515Craft the component: Combine raw materials into a special component (Phosand, Embersand, or Pristine Orb) at the Ammo MakerCraft the arrows: Use the component plus basic materials to produce 3 arrows per batch at the Ammo Maker16161717The Ammo Maker also produces Slingshot ammunition (Simple Pellets, Blast Rounds, Stink Bombs) and fireworks.18181919Combat Arrows20202121Standard Arrow22222323The basic arrow type, available once you craft a Plume Bow at Junior Explorer. Standard Arrows use basic materials and are cheap to produce in bulk. They deal moderate damage and are suitable for clearing regular enemies and supplementing your special arrow supply during boss fights. When you run out of Bomb Arrows mid-fight, Standard Arrows keep the damage going.24242525Bomb Arrow26262727The most important combat arrow in the game. Bomb Arrows deal explosive damage on impact and are the primary weapon for boss fights from the Glintortle onward. Landing Bomb Arrow hits on a boss's weak point can trigger a stun-lock effect, temporarily freezing the boss and opening a massive damage window.28282929Crafting component: Phosand30303131Phosand is crafted at the Ammo Maker from Coal and Sunveil Shrooms. Coal is produced from Softwood at the Charcoal Kiln (or found directly in Moonlit Forest ore deposits). Sunveil Shrooms grow throughout the Moonlit Forest floor, especially in Dreamfall Garden and deeper zones. Collect Sunveil Shrooms every time you see them, since Bomb Arrow production depends on a steady supply.32323333Recommended stock for boss fights:34343535BossBomb Arrows RecommendedGlintortle15-20Ruin Guard20-303636Gale Arrow37373838Unlocked at Senior Explorer. The Gale Arrow deals wind-based damage and is one of the strongest combat arrows against regular enemies. It serves as an alternative to Bomb Arrows when you want high damage without the stun-lock effect. Specific crafting ingredients for the Gale Arrow component require Senior-tier materials from the deeper Moonlit Forest zones.39394040Time Arrow41414242Unlocked at Expert Explorer, the Time Arrow is the highest-tier combat arrow. It provides significant damage output and is available only after substantial progression through the Explorer profession. The Time Arrow complements the Crossbow, which is also an Expert-tier weapon.43434444Puzzle Arrows45454646Fire Arrow47474848Fire Arrows are essential puzzle-solving tools in the deeper Moonlit Forest. When shot at flammable objects (tree roots, branches, brambles), they ignite and burn the obstacle away, clearing blocked paths.49495050Crafting component: Embersand51515252Embersand is crafted at the Ammo Maker. Do not waste them on enemies. The public Ammo Maker at the Exploration Club counter lets you craft arrows without building your own station. Use it early in the game before you have the resources to build one at home.Collect Coal from Moonlit Forest ore deposits and craft Charcoal at the Charcoal Kiln. Both produce the Coal needed for Phosand, the Bomb Arrow component. Before entering Harvest Yard, make sure you have at least 3 Fire Arrows and 3 Water Arrows. Both are needed for mandatory puzzles in that zone.Gale Arrows are better value than Bomb Arrows for farming regular enemies, since they deal high damage without the stun-lock effect that is wasted on non-bosses.If you run completely out of arrows during a Moonlit Forest run, teleport back to the surface via a repaired Moonweaver, restock, and teleport back. This is faster than trying to fight with an empty quiver.
