Created page: System Requirements (2026-10-20)
Probably Stolen is a pixel art game with modest hardware needs. The store page lists minimum specifications for Windows 10 64-bit, while the recommended tier only states the 64-bit requirement as of October 20, 2026. The specs below come from the store pages for the full game and the demo, and may change before the October 28, 2026 launch.
Component | Minimum |
|---|---|
Operating system | Windows 10, 64-bit |
Processor | Intel Core i3 or equivalent (64-bit) |
Memory | 8 GB RAM |
Graphics | GTX 650 Ti equivalent or higher |
DirectX | Version 10 |
Storage | 1 GB available space |
The recommended tier on the store page only says that the game requires a 64-bit processor and operating system. As of October 20, 2026, no recommended processor, memory or graphics card has been published.
As of October 20, 2026, the game is listed for Windows only, with no Mac or Linux version. The store lists a Mouse Only Option, Adjustable Text Size, Custom Volume Controls and Playable without Timed Input. As of October 20, 2026, no controller support is listed and Steam Deck verification has not been announced. More on availability is on Release Date and Platforms.
Keyboard shortcuts exist alongside the mouse controls. Since Update 049, keys 1 to 9 equip tools stored in the Toolbox, the Delete key sends an owned item to the trash bin, and Escape closes the most recent window first.
The demo's store page notes that the game has a native 16:9 aspect ratio. It plays on 21:9 and 32:9 monitors but runs in a window on them. Later patches improved support for wider screens:
Build | Display Change |
|---|---|
Patch 48.3.10 | Non-16:9 monitors can use Full Screen mode, which shows black bars |
Patch 48.3.12 | Info tooltips and scratch tickets work in Full Screen on non-16:9 monitors |
Update 049 | UI elements can be docked onto the black bars in Full Screen; fixes for the bargain panel, tooltips, calendar and nightly report on non-16:9 monitors, and for the resolution setting display |
Patch 48.3.10 added a 60 FPS cap to keep the game from putting extra load on faster hardware. Update 049 made the game drop to 10 FPS while minimized and added a setting to turn that limit off.
The game runs on Unity; Update 049 moved it to a newer Unity version. The same update made the save system resistant to crashes during saving, shrank save files, and shortened late-game sleep loading. It also reduced the chance that Windows 11's Smart App Control blocks the game from launching.
The separate soundtrack add-on lists 500 MB of storage, plus another 2 GB for its high-quality audio files. See Release Date and Platforms for its status.
