Tri-Key

Initial version (2026-04-29)
Tri-Keys are the pull currency for the Arc Research Program, the Arc weapon banner that runs alongside each character banner in Neverness to Everness. Unlike Solid Dice and Fabricated Dice (which are spent one die per pull on the character boards), Tri-Keys are spent in batches: 10 Tri-Keys per Arc Research Program 10-pull with no single-pull option. The Arc banner's pity guarantees an S-Class Arc within 60 pulls (6 ten-pulls) and the featured S-Class Arc within 80 pulls (8 ten-pulls).
Tri-Keys also function as shop currency in the dedicated Arc exchange shop. The standard exchange is 25 Tri-Keys per S-Class Arc, which gives players a deterministic alternative to gacha pulls when targeting a specific Arc.
Source | Yield | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Anomaly Hunter's Journey | 25 across the full milestone chain | Each Hunter Level milestone (5, 15, 25, 30, 40) awards Tri-Keys. See Anomaly Hunter's Journey. |
Story progression | Variable | Main story chapters drop Tri-Keys at chapter clears. |
Achievements | Variable | Achievement category completion rewards include Tri-Key drops on specific milestones. |
Daily commissions | Small, recurring | Daily commission completion contributes Tri-Keys at a slow but steady rate. |
Events | Variable per event | Some launch and post-launch events award Tri-Keys directly. |
There are two main spending paths for Tri-Keys, each with different odds and use cases:
Path | Cost | Outcome |
|---|---|---|
Arc Research Program 10-pull | 10 Tri-Keys per pull | Random Arc roll. Every pull awards an A-Class Arc or higher (no B-Class). Soft pity guarantees an S-Class within 60 pulls; hard pity within 80 pulls. |
Arc exchange shop | 25 Tri-Keys per S-Class Arc | Deterministic purchase of any rotated S-Class Arc. Stock rotates with each character banner. |
The Arc Research Program uses a different pity structure from character banners. The Arc banner has no traditional 50/50: when soft pity activates at 60 pulls (six 10-pulls), the S-Class Arc has a 25% chance to be the featured Arc. If the featured Arc is not received at the 60-pull mark, it is guaranteed by the 80-pull mark (eight 10-pulls). The featured Arc rotates alongside each character banner, with Nanally's signature Arc featured during The Ichi-daime and Hotori's signature Arc featured during Misty Tipsy Style.
Pull on the Arc banner only after securing the matching character. The featured Arc is most valuable on the matching character; pulling for the Arc before the character means the weapon sits without an optimal user.
Hold Tri-Keys for the exchange shop if a banner's featured Arc is the only S-Class you want. The 25-key exchange is deterministic, while a 60-pull Research Program run averages around 100 keys total spend (60 keys for guaranteed S-Class plus the off-chance margin).
Push the Anomaly Hunter's Journey milestones early. The 25 Tri-Key payout across the full chain is one of the largest single Tri-Key sources in Version 1.0.
Tri-Keys do not convert to or from Annulith. They are a separate currency track; Annulith conversions go to Solid Dice or Fabricated Dice instead.
