Duskmoor

Initial version (2026-08-26)
Duskmoor is a district of Hethereau added in Version 1.3, "Rising from the Moonlit Fog", which went live on August 19, 2026 after a maintenance window running from 06:00 to 11:00 (UTC+8). It sits northwest of the city and trades the dense urban blocks of the launch districts for open countryside: mountain roads, fields, farmland and a long stretch of coast. Duskmoor is the first entirely new region added since Sunward Island and the Corridor of Echoes arrived in Version 1.1.
The official description of the district is brief:
Here you'll find sweeping natural scenery, the Starfall Bay Resort, and the open waters of Tearlake.
Two named landmarks sit inside Duskmoor. The Starfall Bay Resort is the beachfront area on the coast, and Tearlake is the inland body of open water. Neither has been documented in detail yet, so both are covered on this page rather than on pages of their own.

Starfall Bay Resort is the coastal resort strip on the Duskmoor shoreline, and it is where the version’s summer activities are staged. The side quest "Beat On, the Heart of Summer" points players there with a short prompt:
A volleyball competition is being held at Starfall Bay. Go take a look.
The beach volleyball activity itself was added to Hethereau Hobbies as Volley Star, a mode in which you take on local teams on the way to a championship. A separate water racing event, Surf Breaker, runs courses across the district’s waterways, and Shipwreck Salvage opened on August 28 as a harpoon-and-haul activity played on the water. The resort’s permanent layout, its shops and its interior spaces have not been documented yet.
Tearlake is the inland lake named in the district description. It is confirmed as one of Duskmoor’s new Fishing grounds: the Faded Badge, a rare catch, carries the in‑game note "A special memento obtained at the Tearlake Fishing Spot. Can be sold for Scale Coins." The lake is also one of the areas where the Tide watercraft can be summoned, since the Tide is restricted to ocean and lake water.
Beyond the fishing spot and the watercraft access, very little about Tearlake has been documented. Its shoreline points of interest, any quests staged there, and its exact extent on the World Map are still open questions.
Version 1.3 added six new Anomaly Commissions set in Duskmoor. Only their names have been published so far; objectives, rewards and unlock conditions are not yet documented.

Duskmoor is built for driving. The district opens new race courses that run through villages, fields and mountain roads, along with loop rally circuits that string corners together across changing road surfaces and elevation. Several of the city’s racing teams have moved out to the district to use them. Version 1.3 also added four new routes to the Challenge racing mode: Night Raptor, Chapter Nova, First Sense and Silver Crown.
The district is large enough that covering it on foot is slow, and its Oracle Stone collectibles can be picked up from a moving vehicle, so sweeping the highways by car is the practical way to explore. Both of the city service jobs were extended to reach the new district as well: Swift Cab gained passenger orders for the new locations, and City Delivery gained matching delivery orders. City Delivery also gained Auto-Drive support in the same update.
Version 1.3 introduced two new places, and they are easy to confuse. Duskmoor is the permanent district described on this page. Fogden is a separate location anomaly tied to the main story episode "Fogden Game", and it is not a part of Duskmoor or a sub-area of it. Content, quests and collectibles found in Fogden should not be recorded on this page.
Duskmoor shipped with far more content than has been written up. The following are known gaps rather than confirmed absences:
The district map, region boundaries and fast travel points.
Exploration rewards, chest counts and the full Oracle Stone tally.
Which fish are unique to the Duskmoor and Tearlake fishing grounds.
NPC residents, shops and services inside the Starfall Bay Resort.
Objectives and rewards for the six new commissions listed above.
Whether the district hosts Anomaly Hunts, and if so which ones.
Miguel District, New Herland District, Illusion Town, Unheard Shores, Warren Continent, Stillmeadow House, Tide (Watercraft), Sirocco.
