Added Akane Rin Build Guide details and related guides
Akane Rin is an on-field Lakshana damage dealer. This setup uses Basic Attacks to build String Energy, Rhythm Wave to choose a single-target mark or an area field, and Synced Resonance to spend the completed gauge. Adjust the defensive slot and field time to the encounter; the sequence below is a practical starting setup rather than a measured damage ranking.
Slot | Starting recommendation | Reason |
|---|---|---|
Arc | Her signature Liquid Arc supports Basic Attacks, Redirect Skill damage and Lakshana damage. | |
Alternative Arc | Fluff of Fleetness | Its on-field ATK stacking suits sustained field time. Switching out removes its stacks. |
Alternative Arc | The Last Rose | A Liquid option if already owned and available. Avoid taking it away from a character who needs it without comparing the complete teams. |
Cartridge | Lakshana and critical-stat support, with its reaction condition matching her intended team play. | |
Temporary Cartridge | ATK support while assembling the preferred set. | |
Main stat | Lakshana DMG | Supports her attribute damage. |
Other offensive stats | CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, Universal DMG and ATK% | Balance the critical stats after accounting for equipment effects. No fixed critical ratio is required here. |
Skill | Investment order | Use |
|---|---|---|
Rhythm Wave | First group | Controls Overtone, Reverb Field and the enhanced Redirect Skill. |
Stringblade | First group | Basic Attacks supply sustained damage and String Energy. |
Sonic Boom | After the first group | Ultimate damage and the Solo Cadenza window. |
Altered Chord | After the core damage skills | Support Skill damage when bringing her into the fight. |
Step | Action | Check |
|---|---|---|
1 | Apply support effects and trigger Remora with a Psyche/Lakshana interaction. | Her Perfect Pitch passive requires the team's first Remora trigger. |
2 | Switch to Akane and use Rhythm Wave. | Press for Overtone on one target; hold for Reverb Field against a group. Only one mode can remain active. |
3 | Use Sonic Boom when available and begin Basic Attack strings. | Continue landing hits to build String Energy. |
4 | At a full 30 String Energy, use Synced Resonance. | Choose the mark or field before committing the enhanced hit. |
5 | Continue attacking and refresh the normal Redirect Skill when its effect needs renewal. | Spending String Energy does not replace checking the mark or field duration. |
6 | Use the Ultimate's second activation when an opening permits. | It can end Solo Cadenza early after at least four seconds. The state otherwise lasts 20 seconds. |
7 | Return to supports when their effects need renewal or the enemy becomes unsafe. | Do not force another long Basic Attack sequence through an incoming attack. |
A Psyche partner such as Blackbird or Fadia provides the other attribute for Remora. A Cosmos character such as Esper Zero supplies the other attribute for Stain. These two reactions use different partners: Psyche plus Lakshana produces Remora, while Cosmos plus Lakshana produces Stain. Choose the final slot for healing, protection, grouping or buffs according to the team's needs.
A starting four-character arrangement is Akane, Blackbird, Esper Zero and a defensive support already built on the account. Blackbird can contribute off-field damage while Akane remains active. An alternative uses Fadia as the Psyche partner and a buffer such as Haniel or Sakiri. Compare survival and field-time needs before investing in a new support specifically for this setup.
Changing Rhythm Wave modes replaces the existing mark or field, so choose the mode for the targets currently available. Keep the normal effect active when using Synced Resonance. Recheck Arc and Cartridge effects in the equipment screen before committing materials, and keep duplicate-dependent Awakening bonuses separate from the base-character loop. This guide does not assume any Awakening unlocks.
