Peacekeepers

Added the official Peacekeeper patrol still to the Appearance section
The Peacekeepers are the armed authority operating in Port Desire, the city where NO LAW is set. Neon Giant has described them as the game's version of the local authority, deliberately styled after the police and security forces of 1980s and 1990s cyberpunk fiction rather than after a modern police force.
An official press still shows two Peacekeepers on patrol in a narrow Port Desire alley. Both wear heavy powered armour in blue and grey, with enclosed helmets, neck and shoulder plating, and equipment mounted across the rig.

The Peacekeepers work out of a base the studio refers to as Peacekeeper HQ. Developers have described its interior in some detail: phones ringing and messages chiming, citizens complaining at the front desk, the smell of burnt coffee and spent cigarettes, and a steady supply of fresh and frosted donuts. The studio has said the building's donut quota was large enough that it built a dedicated, highly detailed donut stand in the city to account for where the supply comes from.
No individual Peacekeeper has been named, and the group's size, ranks, territory, and standing relationship with the player character have not been described. It has also not been stated whether the Peacekeepers are the force that responds to the bounty system covered in Gameplay. Earlier community write-ups describing Port Desire as a buffer zone between warring nations, with the Peacekeepers acting on behalf of outside powers, have not been confirmed by any official source, and the studio's own description of them as a local authority does not support that reading.
