NO LAW is a first-person open-world shooter RPG developed by Neon Giant and published by KRAFTON. The game was revealed at The Game Awards in December 2025 and is currently in development for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. It is built on Unreal Engine 5.
Players take the role of Grey Harker, an ex-military veteran who has left his violent past behind to tend to a quiet life, only to have that peace shattered when trouble finds its way to his door. Harker must rely on his black-ops instincts and custom hardware to reclaim what was taken and confront a city that operates beyond the reach of the law.
NO LAW marks a significant shift for Neon Giant, moving from the isometric twin-stick shooter perspective of their debut title, The Ascent, to an immersive first-person perspective with an expanded open-world scope. The studio describes the project as bigger, more reactive, and more personal than anything they have done before.

Set in Port Desire, a sprawling cyber-noir port city built on excess and lawlessness, NO LAW offers players freedom to approach every encounter on their own terms. The game supports aggressive combat, careful stealth, and choices that carry lasting consequences across the entire playthrough. Every decision leaves a mark on the city and its inhabitants, with alternate paths and outcomes encouraging multiple playthroughs. NO LAW is built as a strictly single-player, premium release with no pay-to-win systems. On PC it is planned for Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store, alongside the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions.
For more on how the game plays, see Gameplay. For details on the world, see Port Desire. For information on the main character, see Grey Harker.
The publisher's own fact sheet gives the game a primary genre of open-world FPS RPG and a secondary genre of immersive shooter. Storefront listings vary a little around that: one files it under action, adventure and RPG, another under action, shooter and stealth, and a third simply under action. The consistent thread across all of them is a first-person, single-player game with role-playing progression.
No release date has been announced. The publisher's second-quarter 2026 results, published in late July 2026, group NO LAW with four other titles "targeting release by 2027", which is the first window any first-party material has given the game. The game's own FAQ still answers the question with "TBD". See Release Date and Platforms for the full picture, and Gamescom 2026 for the showing scheduled in August 2026.
