Battleworks are battlefield deployments in March of Giants. Players use them to create choke points, reinforce objectives and change how battles unfold. Their forms include defensive positions, artillery, tanks and troop reinforcements.
Battlework | Role |
|---|---|
Trenches | Establish defensive lines to secure progress made in a lane. |
Bunker | A gunnery bunker fires artillery at enemy units within range. |
Soldier Drop | An airship brings reinforcement Soldiers ready to take the player's commands. |
Ironclad | An armored tank pushes against enemy defenses. |
Cavalry | A cavalry charge wrecks trenches and staggers a Giant on contact. |
When a Battlework is destroyed, another deployment cannot be placed at that site. This restriction is part of the announced battlefield design: losing a deployment also changes the space available for subsequent placements.
See Giants for character abilities and Warshell for progression during a match. The descriptions here cover the current prerelease design.
