22-Trey's story begins when he is discovered unconscious in the Scarlet Woods by Ales, who brings him to the laboratory of the researcher Kapan. Waking with no memory of who he is, Trey learns about the Lumen and the Animon they bond with, and feels a strange sense of familiarity with the Holoken, the tool every Lumen carries. That pull leads him to become a Lumen himself and set out across Talea in search of the truth about his past.
