24-The Lumen were forged by conflict. After Talea's unifying Emperor died without choosing an heir between his twin sons, civil war broke out between Logos in the north and Mythos in the south. Part of the empire's military broke away to shield ordinary people and Animon from the fighting, and that group became the Lumen. Today they stand as guardians in their provinces, keeping the peace across both regions.
