Animon page for Barangu covering its type, attribute, branching evolution line, learnable skills, and game data.
Barangu is a Geo Animon in LumenTale: Memories of Trey. It carries the Sereum Attribute, which increases its chance of landing critical hits, with each critical hit granting 1 extra TP. Stocky and heavy, Barangu cannot fly, though they sometimes try to reach the sky by jumping from trees or lianas with little success. Although solitary, they take great care of their appearance, particularly the characteristic tufts on their heads. Barangu is recorded as Animon No. 019 in the in-game index.
Barangu is a Geo Animon, and it has a Grass Hidden Type. LumenTale decides weaknesses and resistances per species through scanning rather than from a fixed chart, so check Barangu in battle to read its exact matchups. See Type Effectiveness Explained for how scanning works and Hidden Types Explained for how Hidden Types factor into damage.
