1414 Ales is central to one of the game's earliest main quests, Searching for Ales. He is found in the southern part of Iris Hamlet, southwest of Kapan's house, where he becomes cornered by a horde of wild Animon. Trey must jump in to protect him, which serves as the Holoken tutorial. After Ales is saved, Trey returns to Kapan's house to rest, and the next day Kapan offers a starting Animon after entering the Anispace, followed by the Animon capture tutorial.
