Created World and Locations reference
Loftia is set among floating sky islands. Its planned Early Access storyline spans three major regions: Loftia City, Hanging Gardens, and Gridfall.
Region | Role and activities |
|---|---|
A central gathering hub with shops and community spaces. | |
A green district with farming, gathering, fishing spots, community farms, and a dark forest. | |
A punk-inspired industrial district associated with salvage, exploration, and sustainable power. |
These regional roles were shown in the April 2026 beta guide. The same three names are used in the current Early Access story plan.
Players are intended to have a personal floating island for Housing, farming, and decoration. Linking islands creates Neighborhoods with shared spaces.
Adventures take players into cooperative timed missions with platforming and puzzles. Other exploration includes abandoned factories and group quests across different biomes. Contributions to World Projects are planned to open further resources, stories, and islands.
