Exploration in Loftia includes scavenging in abandoned factories, solving puzzles, and taking on group quests across different biomes. Urbex was one of the named activities in the April 2026 Closed Beta feature roster.
Gridfall
Gridfall is an industrial district associated with salvage and exploration. Its beta reveal described tall skyscrapers and hidden underground tunnels that players could explore with friends.
Other exploration
Hanging Gardens combines greenery and fishing spots with a mysterious dark forest. Adventures provide a separate cooperative timed format with platforming and puzzles.
The game also ties exploration to World Projects: shared contributions are intended to open new resources, stories, and islands. See World and Locations for the main regions.
