S1 "World Beginning" went live on May 29, 2026. The following details are now confirmed in the live build:

• Role: official live coverage lists Longya as a warrior-support (战士辅助) Resonance. Chinese coverage describes the playstyle as an aggressive frontline support, the 暴力辅助 (fierce support) archetype, fighting at the front to create space for the team.

• Weapon and lore: a hammer-wielding blacksmith from the 铸云庐 forging sect attached to Jixia Academy.

• Availability: launched on the S1-opening banner alongside Sun Shangxiang on May 29, 2026.

Longya (龙牙) is a new Resonance arriving in the S1 World Beginning Season of Honor of Kings: World, which launched on May 29, 2026 alongside Sun Shangxiang. Longya is a hammer-wielding blacksmith from the 铸云庐 forging sect inside Jixia Academy, entering the playable roster as the first dedicated hammer Resonance after the protagonist's four-weapon cycle.

Character Identity

Pre-show profiles place Longya squarely in the Support role, but with what CN coverage repeatedly calls an aggressive playstyle, hence the 暴力辅助 label. Rather than a back-line healer, he is positioned as a frontline support whose hammer slams generate pressure relief for his ally while still doing meaningful damage. The 铸云庐 forging sect framing ties him narratively to Jixia Academy's lore: the sect supplies the academy's weapons and armor, including those used by the protagonist Child of the Primal Flow.

Scorching Flow Support Build

Longya channels Scorching Flow (灼流), the new Flow archetype debuting in S1. The Support framing implies kit elements oriented around enemy pressure rather than direct healing, which fits a forging-sect identity: in CN previews his work is described in terms of forging strikes that bleed momentum from opponents while letting an Offensive partner press a window. The dual-Flow loadout system means a Longya player will typically pair him with a Strong Attack partner such as Sun Shangxiang or the S0 burst Resonances like Jialuo or Dongfang Yao.

Acquisition and Pricing

Longya is part of the S1 launch banner alongside Sun Shangxiang. The exact direct-shop Jingpo price (if offered) and Heavenly Reward pull rates will be confirmed on the May 29 patch. The current pre-show plan does not list a Battle Pass tier unlock for Longya; see Monetization for live price verification once S1 opens.

Confirmed Kit Anchors

Official patch notes after the season launch name parts of Longya's live kit. His ultimate is Crimson Myriad (绝技 猩红万钧), which grants a shield, and his core forging skill chain is Forge Hundred Hammers (烘炉百锻) and its derived strikes, fed by a Co-Flow charge gauge (共流技). The kit fits his frontline forging-support identity: shielding and pressure rather than back-line healing. As with the other Resonances, these are dual-Flow action mechanics specific to this game, not a MOBA ability set. Full skill values, the charge timings, and Talent options are still being documented by Chinese guide sites.

Balance History

The July 9, 2026 S1 second-half patch buffed Longya's damage to strengthen his solo-combat capability while keeping his team-support role. Exact numeric values were not published.
