Overview

Bai Mei is a playable character in Honkai: Nexus Anima and the current Novarch of Reality. She is one of the headline characters introduced for the Evolution Test, the game's third closed beta. She was teased earlier as a visually distinctive figure before her name and role were confirmed.

Role

Bai Mei holds the title of the 8th Novarch and governs the Aspect of Reality. She is described as having been chosen through a unique election mechanism tied to her plane, rather than simply seizing the domain after The Sundering. She is a public celebrity within the Reality Plane, which is the same plane that contains Iia, the town where the player begins.

Connection to the Player

As the Novarch of the Reality Plane, Bai Mei is one of the powerful figures the traveler encounters near the start of the journey. Her standee was among the character goods promoted for the Evolution Test, marking her as one of the build's featured Animasters.
