Lucia Caminos is one of the two main protagonists of Grand Theft Auto VI, alongside Jason Duval. She is the series' first non-optional female protagonist.

Background

Lucia was born to a family from Liberty City. Her father taught her to fight as soon as she could walk, and life has been coming at her swinging ever since. Fighting for her family landed her in the Leonida Penitentiary, where she served time before being released through what she describes as sheer luck.

Fresh out of prison, Lucia is committed to changing the odds in her favor. More than anything, she wants the good life her mother has dreamed of since their days in Liberty City - but instead of half-baked fantasies, Lucia is prepared to take matters into her own hands.

Personality

Lucia is determined, resourceful, and pragmatic. Her experiences in prison and growing up in difficult circumstances have made her cautious but also driven. She has learned her lesson from past mistakes and now focuses on making only smart moves.

Unlike characters who dream without acting, Lucia is prepared to do whatever it takes to achieve her goals, even if it means taking risks.

Relationship with Jason

Lucia forms a romantic partnership with Jason Duval, and together they become a criminal duo operating in Leonida. Their relationship is central to the game's narrative, with the two forced to rely on each other when their plans go wrong.

Role in Story

Following a failed bank robbery, Lucia and Jason find themselves entangled in a state-wide conspiracy. They must navigate the criminal underworld of Leonida while protecting each other from the dangerous forces pursuing them.
