Yellow Dye is a dye in Crimson Desert that unlocks standard yellow shades for equipment customization. It belongs to the yellow dye family alongside Bright Yellow Dye and Dark Yellow Dye. The Yellow Dye provides a warm, middle-range yellow tone that works well for giving gear a golden or sunny appearance.
The Yellow Dye is sold by a merchant named Devin at the Pororin Dyehouse. Pororin is a Shai village nestled in the Pororin Forest, and access to the village requires completing a prerequisite sidequest. Players who want yellow gear early should prioritize unlocking Pororin.
Purchase: Sold by Devin at the Pororin Dyehouse. To access Pororin, you must first complete The Unreachable Village sidequest by speaking to a group of Shai near the forest entrance and doing them a favor.
Craft: Crafted at a cauldron once the recipe is known.

All yellow dyes use Dunbaria or Yellow Medicinal Herbs as the flower base. The shade is adjusted through the insect combination.

Open your inventory and select "Use" on the Yellow Dye. This permanently unlocks the yellow shades at any dyehouse. Visit a Dyer NPC to apply the color to your equipment for a small fee.
Pororin is locked behind a sidequest. If you want yellow dye before reaching Pororin, try to craft it at a cauldron using the recipe above.
Yellow Medicinal Herbs are also used in Bright Green Dye recipes. Plan your herb spending carefully if you want both colors.
Each dyehouse supports specific color families. The Pororin Dyehouse specializes in colors not commonly found in the Hernand region.
