On arrival, raise your lantern to follow a faint glowing trail to a patch of slain animals, then examine the bloodied ground to spawn the Black Lion and a pack of lionesses.44+The lionesses can grapple Oongka for heavy damage, so block their rushes and avoid being pinned. Skinning the defeated lion yields a high-value earring on top of progressing the quest. When you collect the Valortread chest back at the cabin, also read the note left on the table, or the House Celeste quest will stay flagged as incomplete.46+Related Quests3448Completing the Legendary Animals quest chain unlocks additional content. The quest that awards the Storm Fang Abyss Gear (via the Goldbranch Plate Crown) becomes available after finishing the Legendary Animals questline. Travel to Hillside Manor in the City of Hernand and speak to the guard with the orange collar marker to begin the follow-up quest that leads to the Bloodied Sanctum.3650Tips3852If the hunter NPC near Lioncrest Manor has not spawned, continue completing other faction questlines in Hernand. The NPC appears after sufficient progress across multiple houses.The Legendary Black Lion fight can be tough.
