33 Turnali is the blacksmith at the Hernand Smithy in Hernand. A master of fire and metal, Turnali can restore any weapons and armor brought to him. He is one of the first NPCs players interact with when exploring the town, and completing his request unlocks the Refinement System.

77 Turnali operates out of the Hernand Smithy, located just behind Rhett's Equipment Shop, a short distance east down the road from the tavern in Hernand.

1111 Turnali offers one of the earliest requests available to the player. Upon visiting his smithy, he provides a Logging Axe and directs the player to chop down trees east of Hernand, on the island between the rivers. After delivering the Fine Timber back to Turnali, he rewards the player with a Smithy Poster that unlocks Refinement, allowing weapons and equipment to be upgraded at any blacksmith.

1313 He also provides a Bekker Shield for the player to practice refining on. Completing the request grants an inventory expansion, Contribution points, and the player keeps both the axe and the shield.
