The Sturdy Tree Branch is the higher-grade variant of the Tree Branch weapon added in Patch 1.04.00. It drops from chopping bamboo with a logging axe rather than ordinary trees and offers a modest stat bump over the standard branch while keeping the same novelty improvised character.

How to Get It

Bamboo grows in forested zones in the eastern half of Pywel. Chop bamboo with a logging axe; the Sturdy Tree Branch is a chance drop on a felled bamboo stand the same way the standard Tree Branch drops from regular trees. Bamboo is rarer than ordinary trees, so the farming loop is slower but yields the upgraded weapon directly without an intermediate refinement step.

Combat Use

The Sturdy Tree Branch is still well below quest-grade weapons in damage but is a small step up from the basic branch. The main draw is roleplay value or carrying both branches as a meme set; serious combat builds use any other one-handed weapon.
