33 Smiting Strike Proficiency is a combo-chaining ability for Damiane in the Stamina Skill Tree. It allows Damiane to quickly chain into Smiting Strike while using another skill, creating fluid combat transitions. By pressing R1 + R2 during any active skill, Damiane interrupts her current action with a devastating spinning spear slam.

1818 Smiting Strike Proficiency is a combo connector rather than a stand-alone attack. While Damiane is mid-animation on another skill such as Sword Flurry or Piercing Light, pressing R1 + R2 cancels the remainder of that animation into an immediate Smiting Strike slam. This is the main tool for keeping Damiane's combo pressure going without waiting for the previous skill to finish recovering.

2020 The Spirit cost of 10 is independent of whatever resource the cancelled skill consumed, so a Sword Flurry cancel is 30 Stamina plus 10 Spirit for the Smiting Strike. Manage both gauges together; Spirit depletes faster than Stamina in extended fights because every cancel costs Spirit but not every cancel costs Stamina.
