2020 The Legendary Hunter chain only becomes available after a longer prerequisite path. Players must first free Velkom Outpost and sleep at Hernand to trigger a bounty flyer for Haldin. After defeating Haldin, a follow-up quest sends Kliff to defeat Gwen. Completing Gwen opens the Legendary Hunter quest-giver at the entrance of Lioncrest Manor, who starts the chain that ends at the Black Lion hunt.

3232 Defeating the Black Lion and skinning the corpse rewards the Black Lion Earring, one of only two earrings in Crimson Desert that reach +4 Movement Speed at maximum refinement. Because earring stats apply globally to Kliff, the Black Lion Earring is considered a permanent foundation accessory. Pairing it with the Witch's Earring delivers the full 8 baseline Movement Speed setup recommended in the Best Accessories Guide and used as the earring slot foundation in the Boss Slayer Build Guide.
