11Overview22Shooting Challenges are a subcategory of the Minigame Challenges in Crimson Desert. There are 2 Shooting Challenges in total, each tied to one of the two Shot Contest minigames in the game. Completing both Shooting Challenges, along with all other Minigame subcategories (Duel, Test of Strength, and Mind Games), is required to unlock the True Gamer trophy and achievement.44Both challenges are located in the Hernand region and require winning consecutive matches in their respective shot contests. Unlike Mastery or Combat challenges, Shooting Challenges do not require a Sealed Abyss Artifact to unlock. However, holding too long gives the opponent time to shoot first.4949Tips and Strategy5151Center your crosshair between shots. After hitting a target, snap your aim back to the center of the shooting range. Targets spawn at random positions, and resting in the middle gives you the shortest travel distance to any new target.Increase camera speed in settings. Open the options menu, go to the Input tab, and increase both Camera Speed and Camera Acceleration. This lets you snap to targets faster. Be careful not to max it out, as extremely high sensitivity can cause overshooting.Keep the bow drawn at all times. In the archery contest, maintain a drawn bow throughout the match. Pausing between shots delays your next attempt and gives the opponent a chance to score.React first, aim second. The AI opponents have fast reflexes. As soon as a target appears, flick toward it and fire. A slightly imprecise quick shot is better than a perfectly aimed slow one, since the opponent will not hesitate.Do not use Focused Shot. Abilities like Focused Shot are disabled during the shot contests. It is purely a test of raw aim and reflexes, not character abilities.Save before attempting streaks. Both challenges require consecutive wins. Save your game before starting a streak so you can reload if you lose, preserving your entry fee and win count.Complete the story quests first. For Hawkeye, make sure you have completed the Skilled in Archery quest in Chapter 4 before attempting the 3-win streak. Without this, the Champion will not appear on the fourth match.Practice with the bow first. The Shot Contest: Bow costs 80 Copper compared to 1 Silver for the gun contest.
