The first researcher, Grunvar, is an old orc who sends players on a short introductory quest from Chapter 5 onward. After completing the objective inside the institute, the lead researcher requests 1x Honey Tea to begin the research project tree. The Abyssal Energy Research project available here is one of the most impactful in the game, pushing the health cap from level 11 to level 18.
