Overview

Refined Power is a faction quest belonging to the Witches of Pywel faction in Crimson Desert. After completing Chapter 2, Kliff receives a letter from White Crow directing him to Shadow's Whisper Cave. Inside, he meets Sylvia the Witch, who provides weapon improvement services and access to Palmar Pills. This is the first quest in the Witches faction line.

Walkthrough

Step 1: Obtain and Read White Crow's Letter

After finishing Chapter 2, White Crow appears as soon as you gain control of Kliff at the start of Chapter 3. Take the letter from White Crow and read it. The letter reveals a location to investigate: Shadow's Whisper Cave.

Step 2: Travel to Shadow's Whisper Cave

The cave is located north of Hernand Town. Look for a crevice on the cliff face. This narrow opening serves as the cave entrance. It is easy to miss if you are not looking for it.

Step 3: Meet Sylvia

Enter the cave and navigate to the interior chamber. Sylvia the Witch introduces herself and explains her role. Speaking with her completes the quest.

Step 4: Collect Items

Before leaving, grab the two Palmar Pills and the Palmar Pill Crafting Recipe from the table nearby. These are valuable items. Palmar Pills revive you at your current location after dying to enemies, including during boss fights.

Post-Quest Services

After completing Refined Power, Sylvia offers weapon improvement services. She can embed weapons with Abyss Gear, enhancing their stats and adding special effects. Visit her whenever you acquire new Abyss Gear to upgrade your equipment.

Tips

• Complete this quest as early as possible in Chapter 3. The Palmar Pills and crafting recipe are extremely useful for surviving difficult boss fights.

• The cave entrance is a narrow crevice in the cliff. If you are having trouble finding it, look for the quest marker on the map and approach from directly below.

• Sylvia's weapon embedding service becomes increasingly valuable as you collect more Abyss Gear throughout the game.

• The Palmar Pill Crafting Recipe allows you to create additional pills at alchemy stations, ensuring a steady supply for future encounters.
