33 During the Ritual Preparations main quest in Chapter 8, Kliff must read the memories embedded in shipwrecks along a beach. This objective uses the lantern and the Visione Helmet to reveal and view ghostly memories. The process can be a bit finicky, so here is exactly what to do.

1010 Head to the beach area marked on your map. Defeat all the enemies in the area before attempting to search for memories. Fighting while trying to focus the lantern is unnecessarily difficult.

1212 Step 2: Locate the Memory with Your Lantern

1414 Look at your minimap for the small orange search zone. Move to the center of this zone and hold L1 (LB on Xbox) to focus your lantern on the ground. Scan the area slowly until you see blue ghost outlines appear. A "Learning in Progress" notification pops up when you have found the right spot.

2020 After locating the memory, hold the Options button (or Menu button on Xbox) and select the bottom icon to equip the Visione Helmet. Alternatively, you can open your inventory, select the Visione item with X (Spacebar on PC), and choose Demeniss > Memory of the Kidnapped Witches from the menu.

2424 The Visione Helmet replays the memory as a short scene. After it finishes, a new search zone appears around a different set of shipwrecks. Repeat the process of scanning with your lantern and viewing with the Visione Helmet to uncover additional memories until the objective completes.
