2222 Super Armored enemies include most bosses, elite guards, and larger monsters in the late-game regions. Before Rend Armor, Quaking Fury could connect but not stagger these targets, which let them interrupt the long spin animation with a counter-attack. That made Quaking Fury unsafe against the very enemies where its damage was most valuable.
