11Overview22334455Plunderer's Gold Chest is a quest container in Crimson Desert. A heavy chest recovered from the siege engine of Rusten, the Desert Marauder. Brimming with spoils seized from countless crushed caravans, it carries a formidable weight. Though these goods are stained with blood, they will be vital for rebuilding and maintaining the camp.6677Properties8899PropertyValueTypeQuest ContainerGradeNormalPrice1 Silver1010How to Obtain11111212This item can be obtained through the following sources:13131414Destroy Desert Marauder RustenChapter TransitionSpeak with the nobleSpeak with the man near Bluemont Manor15151616Notes17171818Quest items are stored in a dedicated section of your inventory and generally cannot be sold or traded. Some quest items may remain in your inventory after completing their associated quest, while others are automatically removed.19192020See Also21212222Quest Items - All quest items in Crimson DesertQuests - Quest walkthrough guideItems - All items overview23232424Obtaining the Plunderer's Gold Chest25252626The Plunderer's Gold Chest drops from the Desert Marauder, a giant siege engine boss that patrols around Batia just above Tash Kalp on the Crimson Desert map. The Marauder moves along a fixed route, so you can either intercept it on the patrol or stake out a spot in its path and wait.27272828Desert Marauder Fight29293030The Marauder is a siege engine rather than a single enemy, so the fight plays out as a vehicle takedown. Focus attacks on the wheels on either side of its hull to immobilize the machine. When one side's wheel breaks, the hatch opens and exposes the crew inside. Leap in, dispatch the enemies crewing the engine, then break the glass core at the center. Destroying the core ends the fight.31313232Camp Copper Reward33333434Consuming the Plunderer's Gold Chest grants over 100,000 camp copper toward your camp funds. That is a huge injection for any player who is still upgrading camp buildings or funding research projects, and it makes this one of the most economically valuable key items in the Crimson Desert region.
