Each piece is retrieved directly from a cache, so the armor is effectively a cosmetic trophy once every location has been cleared. Most of the pieces can be collected at any point in the campaign, but the helm is locked behind a chapter 9 quest and cannot be grabbed early.

3535 Helm: gated behind the chapter 9 quest The Veiled Witch, which lifts a curse at the helm's location. Focus Force Palm opens the rock cache.Chest Armor: retrieved from a hidden hole that must be broken open with Focus Force Palm. Two nearby holes look similar, so target the correct one.Gloves: unlocked by smashing one of the colorful rocks at its map marker with Focus Force Palm.Cloak: looted from a cache in Pelu. The area is patrolled by black bears that stay hostile even after Pelu has been reclaimed, and aggro will block the pickup prompt.Boots: hidden in a chest at a sanctum location. The sanctum does not need to be cleared; the chest can be looted directly.

Approaching the cache before completing the chapter 9 quest The Veiled Witch triggers an attack by crows around the pickup site, which the game describes as being cursed. Finishing the quest lifts the curse, removes the crows, and makes the cache safe to open.
